Wilson pulled tooth number 6 tonight, and I am so proud of him.
I really do want my kids to be tougher than I am, so I tried to hide my cringing…underneath a sofa cushion.
When I was a kid, I would let a loose tooth dangle by a thread for so long that the whole family was begging me to let them pull it. I probably even got some money offers.
Actually, I think it was the prospect of the tooth fairy money that made Wilson decide to pull his tooth. It took him about a nanosecond to make that decision. That’s my tough boy!!

I remember struggling to pull my loose tooth. A long time ago. And Dana wouldn’t even eat with hers.

I will have to show these pictures to Caleb! He has started asking when he will start loosing teeth and I suddenly realized that I won’t really be that much longer! It seems like he just got them all! Also I warn them when we brush teeth that if they don’t take care of them, they will fall out like my grandparents’ did! And then suddenly I have to back up and say, well these are going to fall out no matter what, but after that, you want to keep them. They have got to be so confused!
