Wilson: Yay!
Daddy: Which do you like better: spaghetti or Uncle Scott?
Wilson: (Pause.) I don’t know! Both are GREAT.
Finch, sitting on the potty after bedtime— his nightly potty call: My got firehat on (which he did, and has for several DAYS). My got big firetruck. My ready go!
Mommy: Well where are you going?
Finch: With big fire-man.
Mommy: Where is the big fireman?
Finch: Big fire-man come get me in my ROOM! My ready go!!
Marianne and Wilson love to play the game Guess Who. It is basically a detective game in which each player randomly draws a card with a face on it. By taking turns asking questions, each player narrows down the possible “suspects” and tries to guess who is on the other player’s card. However, when Marianne plays, she opts for less randomness. She digs through the pile until she finds this card: 
Wilson has caught on to her game, but he plays along and asks all his questions as if he forgot she always chooses the redhead. Or maybe he really does forget.

Wilson did finally decide that Uncle Scott was better, but it took about a minute of indecision to get there.

When I worked at the day camp, the kids loved to play Guess Who, the biggest challenge with playing with them was that instead of trying to figure out who you were, they asked questions that described their card!
