Isn’t the Hotel Pool the climax of fun for a little kid? I don’t know why that is, but it was true for me and it’s now true for my kids. We were actually so busy seeing friends and taking in the sights that we’d been at the hotel for almost a week before we made it down to the pool.
Marianne started out holding on to the side…
…and advanced to criss-crossing the middle.
Wilson went straight under water…
…and spent a good deal of time there.
Finch was a little wary of the water. He started on the steps…
…and then Daddy persuaded him to take a ride,
which was good for some laughs,
and helped him to relax a little in the water.
And just as he was beginning to understand the appeal of the Hotel Pool,
it happened.
He spotted it.
Our Hotel Pool was located under the flight path to the airport…
…and life was perfect for this 3-year-old.
