A Short History of our Marriage

  • Years 1-2:  Dana celebrates the acquisition of many large and colorful baby-centric bouncing, riding, swinging, carrying and pushing articles.
  • Years 3-6:  The children proceed to destroy, mangle, stain, and limpify many of said articles.
  • Year 7:  Nick celebrates the selling, donating, and chucking of what remains of the large and colorful baby-centric articles that clog his garage, basement and attic.
  • Year 8:  Dana celebrates the acquisition of many large and colorful baby-centric bouncing, riding, swinging, carrying and pushing articles.

    It’s even more of a celebration when the baby-centric articles are found on craigslist (thanks to my mom who scours the ads for me)!
