Rear Window #2

A few highlights of today’s outdoor time:

* I looked out and saw Wilson in the act of taking his shirt off and heading to a tree in the back corner of the yard. Then he started making strange noises. I would guess Tarzan if I thought he knew who that was.

* Finch took a break from mulch moving (backhoe to dumptruck) to push Marianne in the swing. At the same time, Wilson tried out the infant swing.

Today was one of those perfect days — 75 degrees, low humidity, breezy — so we scrapped part of our morning routine to play on the porch. Wilson and Finch kept my porch swing going and it was lovely.

I am so impressed with the way they are playing and entertaining themselves each morning. Nothing short of miraculous in my book. By the way, has the log cabin lost its roof?

I’m actually surprised by how well they’ve been playing together, too. It was a little rough at first, but maybe they’ve accepted the fact that they can’t come in early so they might as well find something to do.

I’m not sure what happened to the roof. Temporarily repurposed??

would you like for them to have the play tent in your yard? They could use it so much more than at my house.
