Q: Where do you want to eat tonight? A: FUDDRUCKER’S!

When we lived in Maryland, Nick and I discovered a fun restaurant called Fuddrucker’s. ¬†We enjoyed it for their huge hamburgers and snazzy decor.

Wilson, 3 weeks old, and his uncles at Fuddrucker's in Baltimore

We often took our out-of-town visitors to eat there.

So, naturally, we were eager to introduce the kids to Fuddrucker’s in Annapolis last month.

They reeeeeally liked it.

For the rest of the month, I repeatedly overheard conversations like these:

Q: What is your favorite rest-er-naut?
A: FUDDRUCKER’S!

Q: What store do you want to own when you grow up?
A: FUDDRUCKER’S!

Q: What did you dream about last night?
A: FUDDRUCKER’S!

The thing is, I don’t think it was the huge hamburgers or the snazzy decor the captured their enthusiasm.

I’m pretty sure the popularity of this rest-er-naut was clinched by the self-serve, mix-to-order, touch-screen drink machines.

FUDDRUCKER’S!!!

There is a Fuddruckers in Miami, actually there was, then there wasn’t and now there is again – but I haven’t been in several years and I don’t think they had those drink machines when I did!

The drink machine was the coolest part.

They didn’t have them ten years ago, and I’ve never seen them anywhere else, either.
